Oracle of ages was released along side The legend of zelda: Oracle of seasons. The two games were playable together via link cable on the Gameboy Color. The original plan was to have 3 games which all interacted with each other but the developers ended up dropping one game due to the complexity. In Oracle of ages the triforce transports link to Labrynna where he see's Veran kidnap Nayru. After completing both games the plot will be revealed.
